A garden that offers fruit!
These are two adjacent houses, located in one extreme of the main group of former settlers’ houses, in the eastern area of Fajã dos Padres.
The family of the land keeper José Soldado has lived there until approximately 1922. After the recovery, many decades later, the two terraced houses constituted the first inhabitable houses in this area of Fajã.
The two houses are completely independent, each offering a balcony and a solarium facing south / west.

The garden, right next door, and its trees that beyond shadow also offer exquisite fruits, and serve to hang “that” swing that transport us to our childhood.
