A garden that offers fruit!!

These are two adjacent houses, located in one extreme of the main group of former settlers’ houses, in the eastern area of Fajã dos Padres.

The family of the land keeper José Soldado has lived there until approximately 1922.  After the recovery, many decades later, the two terraced houses constituted the first inhabitable houses in this area of Fajã.

The two houses are completely independent, each offering a balcony and a solarium facing south / west.

The sunset. The houses are perched over the sea, thus benefiting from an extraordinary view of all the cliff of Ribeira Brava and over Ponta do Sol. Here, guests can totally immerge in the natural environment of Fajã. One can almost imagine how life would be a century ago...

The garden, right next door, and its trees that beyond shadow also offer exquisite fruits, and serve to hang "that" swing that transport us to our childhood.

CABLE CAR TRIPS
  • Guests have access to an extended cable car service schedule, between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, and between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
  • Luggage transportation service to and from the house on request, for arrivals before 17:00.

 

MEALS
  • Breakfast served at the restaurant, or delivered at the house (on request).
  • Restaurant and bar, opened daily up to 18:00.
  • Dinner delvered at the house
  • Barbeque meals pre-prepared and delivered at the house

Reservations, cancellations and check-in policies

 

Reservation guarantee

When pressing the BOOK YOUR STAY button, you will be directed to a secure page where you can check the houses availability and complete your booking.
To confirm the booking you might be asked to pay a percentage of the booking value.
The booking balance shall be paid upon check-in with the most convenient means of payment: cash, ATM card or credit card.

 

House selection

Due to the small number of houses available, and to the fact that they all have similar characteristics, Faja dos Padres reserves the right to change the house selected during the booking process to an equivalent house, with the same value, without prior notice to the client.

 

Check-in and check-out

Check-in takes place from 15:00. Check-in after 18:00 must be communicated in advance.

Check-out up to 11:00 on the day of departure.

 

Changes and cancellation policy

Booking cancellation should be communicated no later than 30 days before check-in date. In these circumstances the deposit value will be reimbursed, yet any corresponding expenses should be supported by the client.
Cancellations received in less than 30 days prior to check in date will not be entitled to any reimbursement of the formerly settled advance payment.
