A modern cable car takes you quick and comfortably down the 300 mts of the huge cliff.

The beachfront restaurant offers the rich flavors of Madeiran cuisine.

The sunset is special here, and may be observed in the comfort of one of our cottages.

Beach

An exclusive pebble beach and a small pier, completed by showers and sunbeds.


Organic farming

Mango, banana, avocado and other tropical fruit are grown here, together with a great wine.

The most beautiful access, passing under the enormous cliff of Cabo Girao.

We just returned from our second stay at Faja dos Padres. We think anything has been said.... An island within the island. The quietness and peace.The magic of the place. The friendlyness of the staff (special thanks to Nelio who had to be at the cable car before 7a.m. because of our early flight). We are looking forward to our next stay. Hope to see you all soon on the beach!!!

We enjoyed both our stays with you in 2019/20 ! We love every minute of the tranquility and escapism that The Faja dos Padres provides. Only thing missing is the occasional bench to sit and dream on. Looking forward to our next visit to you very soon ! Obrigada xxx
