Welcome to Fajã dos Padres

Despite being almost inaccessible by land, Faja dos Padres history dates back to the beginning of Madeira's colonization.

Over the ages, it was summer residence of the Jesuits, elected property in the production of the famous Madeira wine, stage for corsair adventures, granary of the surrounding villages.

Today it is with great pleasure that we invite you to visit this small island within the island of Madeira, which is so dear and special to us.

Also the friendly welcome and guidance upstairs as well as below at the restaurant makes this place worth visit a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th times.
