We enjoyed both our stays with you in 2019/20 ! We love every minute of the tranquility and escapism that The Faja dos Padres provides.
Only thing missing is the occasional bench to sit and dream on.
Looking forward to our next visit to you very soon ! Obrigada xxx

We spent one day of our honeymoon at Fajã dos Padres and had the most magical day. The private gardens were *** to walk through - it was unlike anything we’ve been to before. The food was delicious and the location was indescribable.
We can’t wait to visit again!
Thank you for sharing this oasis.

Fantastic stay. Landscape of charm and a great and friendly service (Fatima is an excellent guide). It was a shame the sea was too rough. We look forward to the next visit possibly in late summer.

Beautiful sunsets
We had a wonderful stay at the truly unique Faja and particularly enjoyed the sunsets and the gabbling of the Cory's Shearwaters at night.

A place to recharge the batteries
We just returned from our second stay at Faja dos Padres. We think anything has been said.... An island within the island. The quietness and peace. The magic of the place. The friendlyness of the staff (special thanks to Nelio who had to be at the cable car before 7a.m. because of our early flight). We are looking forward to our next stay. Hope to see you all soon on the beach!!!

Very Special Place
We just spent 5 days in this fantastic location on our second visit. The houses are very quiet and secluded, with only the sound of the waves breaking on the beach beneath the terrace. The restaurant is really excellent, with fresh locally sourced fish and vegetables grown on the farm at Faja Dos Padres. Staff are lovely and welcoming and the scenery is stunning.

A little paradise!
Hi Bruno, Nelio, Mario, Chef and all the service staff!
We loved our too-brief two nights at Faja dos Padres. It is truly a magical place - a little paradise!
The cottage was perfect - Ocean views from the terrace and almost every room. Falling asleep and then waking to the sound of the surf was wonderful.
The historic significance of the Faja also helps to make the place special. The Fernandes family has maintained the sense of the past while providing 21c amenities - the perfect combination.
Of course Chef and his staff provide excellent meals and attentive yet friendly and personal service.
The parade of staff who brought us our BBQ ingredients for our final dinner to cook for ourselves was a welcome sight.
Strolling through the fruit and vegetable gardens and vineyards is beautiful and the fresh fruit and produce served is terrific.
Many thanks to Bruno and Nelio for their ***stance with our guest's delayed arrival and special thank you to Mario for our impromptu visit to the adega and being able to taste both the older Malvasia but the two 'baby' Terrentez wines - can't wait to taste them in more maturity.
Best, Llyn & Rod and Roxane and Michael

Very nice, quiet place. A real littel paradies. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. The whole staff, reception, restaurant, cable car operatior and cleaning person were very friendly and helpfull. The food in the restaurant very fresh and tasty, just a pitty that the place closes by 6.00 o´clock p.m. Nice to sit under Palm threes ride by the sea. Certainly a place to come back.
One thing puzzled us: why does the restaurant close so very early - 18.00, and last orders at 17.00 seems bizarre?
