Unieke locatie

Wij hadden een topweek op dit paradijselijke plaatsje. Met een maartse storm troffen we geen best weer maar de organisatie heeft ons daar zeer goed in geholpen.
Vriendelijke mensen zowel de bediening van de kabelbaan, receptie, tuinmannen en last but not least het restaurant.
Heerlijk ontbijt, leuk restaurant overdag met ruime keuze aan gerechten en dranken.

Een echte aanrader.

Guided Tour

We did a guided tour of Faja dos Padres with fruit tasting and it really was one of the highlights of our holiday. Fatima was so informative and explained so much to us about the organic farming methods and history of farming on Madeira. And then how lovely to sit down and taste the fruits. Faja dos Padres is a truly special place and I would recommend visitors to Madeira to go and spend some time there.

Schitterende dagen

3 nachten zijn we hier geweest.
Ondanks het jaargetijde (jan 2026) van alles kunnen genieten. De gastvrijheid, de zon, de oceaan, het verrukkelijke ontbijt en het heerlijke eten.
OK, voor een 5 sterren ultieme luie luxe moet je hier niet zijn. Maar voor alles wat je hartje begeert wel. Hier doet iedereen, van kok tot liftmachinist, van receptie dame tot afwasser, van tuinman tot bediening mee met de dagelijkse werkster om te zorgen voor een ultieme beleving.
Na een dag buiten hiken is het hier top vertoeven.
Vooral als je een ochtendmens bent.. met je kopje koffie de hemel weer licht zien worden en s avond de zon in de oceaan zien zakken. Al dan niet met thee of wijn.

Extraordinary experience

We came twice in a week and probably our final lunch will be there as well; charming staff, brilliant food and the perfect place to enjoy sundown with a ***tail. Came here to celebrate birthday and when you found out, we were surprised with a little birthday cake with candle and ovations. Great place, great stay; highly recommended, you made our day, we will be back !

Wonderful

We had a great day: started with the garden tour and the food tasting and learned a lot thanks to our friendly guide Fátima. We enjoyed swimming and having a calm time at the beach. Then we had a tasty dorada and tuna - meal with perfect sea view and nice service. Only the cheesecake with mango was a little disappointing.
It is really a relaxing place.

10 days in paradise

We spent 10 days on the Fajã dos Padres in April/May 2025 and enjoyed every day.
It was like paradise on earth for us. We were fascinated by the beauty of this little headland.

A big thank you to the whole team who made our holiday an unforgettable experience. We will never forget these days and promise to come back.

O vosso espaço é sem duvida paradisíaco. Vamos com alguma regularidade à vossa praia e ao vosso restaurante. O meu marido tem mobilidade reduzida e acho estranho uma infraestrutura como a vossa não comtemplar lugares de estacionamento no vosso parque para este tipo de situações. Fica a sugestão para a criação de pelo menos um lugar para pessoas portadoras de deficiência.

We did the the guided tour with fruit tasting. It was really great. Fajo dos Padres is like an own little world. We learned a lot about the fruits while we had an *** view. The fruits at the end were really delicious and the food at the restaurant too. It’s really worth the money. Everyone was really friendly. I definitely will come back.

Faja dos Padres is an amazing place.
We had a guided tour with the fruit tasting at the end.
Fatima was an excelent guide prepared to answer our questions. It was very interesting to discover the history of this place and the princips of organic farming.
We' ve been there with our three children( 4, 7 and 9) and although the tour took 1,5 hour we did it:-) ( only the part with the history of wineyard was a bit long for them but the pigs, chicken and sheep are perfect!

We love this restaurant. We come here to eat at least twice during every stay on Madeira. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay. Landscape of charm and a great and friendly service (Fatima is an excellent guide). It was a shame the sea was too rough. We look forward to the next visit possibly in late summer.

We spent one day of our honeymoon at Fajã dos Padres and had the most magical day. The private gardens were *** to walk through - it was unlike anything we’ve been to before. The food was delicious and the location was indescribable. We can’t wait to visit again! Thank you for sharing this oasis.
