A   Garden that offers fruit!

Here are two neighboring houses at the far end of the cluster of original settler homes in the eastern part of Fajã dos Padres.

These houses were the residence of José Soldado, the caretaker of the land, until around 1922. Following restoration, many decades later, these two side-by-side houses became the earliest habitable residences in this part of Fajã.

Each of these houses is entirely self-contained, and they each come with a balcony and a sunny outdoor space facing towards the south/west.

You'll love

  • The sunset. The houses are perched over the sea, thus benefiting from an extraordinary view of all the cliff of Ribeira Brava and over Ponta do Sol.
  • That you can wholly immerge in the natural environment of Fajã. One can almost imagine how life would be a century ago...
  • The beautifil garden, right next door. A great place for your children to play, to bronze, or for you to take a nostalgic ride on the swing.
